In Augusta, at Sonatrach Raffineria Italiana, the regional event of A.I.MAN. Associazione Italiana Manutenzione Sicilia took place.
It was an interesting opportunity to share our experiences on strategic topics such as industrial asset management. The event featured analyses and discussions dedicated to the field of Maintenance, with significant insights on Asset Integrity Management, equipment aging, and repairs using composite materials.
During the roundtable discussions, we witnessed contributions from experts in the industrial and academic sectors. VED was among the participants with presentations from composite materials technicians Eng. Alberto Blanco and Eng. Alessandro Russo from the company’s CMA (Composite Material Applications) business unit. They shared the benefits of pressure vessel repairs using composite materials.

Associazione Italiana Manutenzione towards EuroMaintenance 2024, the leading European congress dedicated to maintenance, which will be held in Italy for the third time in over 50 years from September 16 to 18, 2024, in the city of Rimini.
