The STP plug eliminate the problems of safety typical of installation of normal conical plugs and/or expansion plugs for the exclusion of tube exchangers. The STP plugs is produced in more size and materials ad fits in a few minutes. To install it on the tube exchanger is sufficient to perform a slight conical reaming and then to thread the end part of tube by rolling. The rolled thread does not weaken the tube, indeed strengthens the rolling expansion. The STP plug produces immediate and future economic benefits because it is not invasive for the tube sheet and do not require special tools for the installation in safety conditions.
