Failing to resolve, with usual systems, we were <strong>involved in the search for a solution<\/strong> that would allow the system to restart..<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2769 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ved.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/testata-e-ring-joint-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ved.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/testata-e-ring-joint-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ved.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/testata-e-ring-joint.png 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">On one side of the equipment, the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ring Joint remained attached to the body flange<\/span>, firmly anchored to it and despite repeated attempts to remove it, it was preferred not to insist too much. On the other side, removing the Ring Joint without difficulty, the sealing surfaces were restored by turning; this has contributed to a r<strong>eduction of the section and consequently an excessive approach of the flanges<\/strong>, to the assembly. If on the one hand the surface conditions of both heads were quite regular and free from appreciable defects, on the body flange there were excessive corrosion signals for a Ring Joint seat. Based on the information received, <strong>the study was carried out to restore the seal conditions<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><br \/>\nWork execution<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2768 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ved.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/testata-1-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ved.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/testata-1-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ved.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/testata-1.png 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>It was decided to use the technical features of the <strong>Graface<\/strong> to solve the problem, acting directly in the plant quickly. Then the conical surfaces were developed for the Ring Joint seats, and the shapes were cut. In the Plant, the final phases of the activity involved coating the conical seats of the Ring Joint<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">The assembly of the Ring Joint and the tightening of the head, carried out by another company, was supervised by VED personnel<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><strong>After the equipment was assembled, the hydraulic test was performed and no leak was detected<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>In Brief<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">The use of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ved.it\/en\/prodotti\/graface-lupgrade-per-le-guarnizioni-metalloplastiche\/\"><strong>Graface<\/strong><\/a> has promptly resolved a problem directly in the plant, combining experience with product quality. Therefore the seal is not obtained only thanks to an element, which is made up a flange joint (example: the gasket), but the set of its
