It started by the name EUROSKET in Priolo (Siracusa-Italy) industrial area, supplying services, such as industrial gasket production and G.R.P. piping installation\u00a0 for all the industrial plant located in Sicily. Soon the company developed an innovative thermosetting technology capable to manufacture a large diameter GRP pipe by the \u201cContinuous Filament Winding\u201d process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Company activity evolved by introducing FURMANITE specialized on-site mechanical maintenance services and assistance; that allows intervention on running plants such as leaks sealing and hot tappings activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A new Company service was born to enhance mechanical joint system reliability with the name of\u00a0<strong>S.G.S. Sealing Global Service<\/strong>. It is an high reliability operational system <strong>starting from the sealing problems analysis<\/strong> up to the <strong>product design<\/strong> and the <strong>final system test<\/strong> and <strong>control<\/strong>. Then t<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">he growing company changed its name to VED, as the nowadays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In the first time VED supplied product and services as:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Pipes and fittings composite material for the conveying of effluents in civil and industrial application<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Industrial Gasket production and installation\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Mechanical maintenance specialized services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8230; but day by day with the increased experience the inside company&#8217;s research activities started focusing on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/emissioni-fuggitive.it\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fugitive Emission Control<\/a>\u201d, bringing VED\u2019s commitment to the attention on the natural environment and worker safety care.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Today VED employees more than 200 people over Italy and abroad.\u00a0<\/strong>VED acquires knowledge and experience such as to place it today as excellent partner for large international customers.
